Job Description
Skillforce Inc. is hiring for journeyman level commercial electricians in Charlottesville, VA. Pay is $26 - $30 per hour based on experience and skillset. If you are a commercial electrician with at least 5 years experience APPLY NOW!
Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installing, and repairing electrical wiring and systems.
- Perform duties such as: install lighting, pull wire/MC cables, rough-ins, receptacles, panel work, conduit bending
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
- Working with voltages up to 480v
- Run and bend conduit (90's, 45's, offsets, 3 & 4 point saddles)
- Terminate panels
- Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
- Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
- 5 years electrical experience
- Your own tools and PPE
- A valid Driver's License and your own transportation
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
Salary: $26 - $30 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
